Greetings! 

This is my attempt to welcome you all into the ever expanding Vermaak fold here in the UK.  For family, for friends and for researchers of our family name.  We are a friendly bunch.

Peter, Jacqueline and I found ourselves born in London in ’59 Peter  ‘62 David and ‘64 Jacquie  Our parents were Dirk Cornelius Vermaak, (South African) And Elizabeth Mary Carroll (Deceased Jan 13 1971) (Irish)  So our blood is well mixed!

To be honest everything did not go according to plan, if indeed there ever was one but, hey.  Seems we were not the only ones to be affected by Dad’s early extraordinary life.

Pete and I have not seen Dad since 1969.  We thought he was probably dead until we discovered half Bro Dirk in Loughborough,  We now also welcome Tony Evans, OK, not Vermaak by surname, but decidedly family in everything that matters.  Dad is alive and living in Wales.
